Selleck Neuronal Signaling Compound Library

This library was purchased from Selleck Chemicals using a DARPA grant to Drs Peter Sorger (HMS) and Clifford Woolf (BCH) in December 2019. This library contains some FDA-approved compounds. It is composed of compounds that Selleck determined to have biological activity and be used in neurologic research and associated assays.

This is a bioactive library and compounds are likely more potent. Thus, the library has been plated at 2 concentrations – 10 mM and 1 mM – and each concentration is a distinct set of 4 384-well library plates. Investigators can select the library concentration(s) at which they would like to screen; final concentration can also be varied by chosen pin transfer volume. The only difference between the two sets of plates is the compound concentration.
