ICCB-L Equipment Scheduling Guidelines
Scheduling: Reserve up to 3 hours during peak hours (8am–6pm); contact the screening team for additional time. Only book what you need, and update the schedule promptly if your plans change.
Access & Training: All users must complete staff-led training and the lab-specific checklist before being granted access. Do not train others or share your ID.
BSL-2 Lab Requirements: Complete BSL-2, hazardous waste, and bloodborne pathogen training at your institution before visiting. While in the facility:
- No food, food waste, or packaging permitted
- Biohazardous waste must be disinfected/inactivated before disposal
- Wear gloves on keyboards, computers, and common surfaces; remove gloves when entering/exiting the screening room
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times
Refer to the ICCB-L Biosafety Handbook for more details.
Data Storage: Do not store data on local hard drives. Use your HMS home drive or another secure location.
Non-Screening Users: Training is available on all instruments for a per-user, per-instrument fee, plus hourly usage fees. The Combi, Plate Washer, and PlateLoc are billed as annual access. See the Fee Summary for details.
