Fee Summary

A fee is charged for access to ICCB-Longwood. This fee helps us to recover a portion of our operating expenses. ICCB-Longwood fees (and associated Facilities and Administration (F&A) fees) are revised annually based upon the Harvard Fiscal Year (July 1 – June 30). The fee structure is updated on the ICCB-Longwood website as soon as it is available. All charges are based on the fee at the time of service, not a previously provided estimate or price structure from a previous fiscal year.

Fees below represent the current rates for FY21 (July 1, 2020 - June 30, 2021).

The fees charged for access to ICCB-Longwood do not include the cost of screening reagents and supplies. Funding for all screening reagents and supplies is the responsibility of the screener.

Non-academic investigators should contact Jennifer Smith for the current industry price structure.

Instrument Training and Access Fees

Instrument Training and Access Fees

  • Investigators utilizing instrumentation at ICCB-Longwood and not conducting a small molecule or RNAi screen will be charged a fee for access.
  • A one-time training fee will be charged for each individual on each instrument they are trained.
  • For individuals originating from non-HMS Quad investigator labs (this includes HMS Affiliates whose labs are not located on the HMS Quadrangle and non-Harvard investigators), the F&A fee will be assessed at the time the fee is charged.
  • In addition, there is a per-instrument annual access fee to help recover a portion of the costs associated with instrument maintenance.
