Gray Kinase Inhibitor Focused Library

This is a kinase inhibitor-focused library provided to ICCB-Longwood by Dr. Nathanael Gray (Stanford University). It comprises validated and suspected ATP-site kinase inhibitors that target active and inactive kinase conformations.

Number of Compounds 187
Plate Numbers 2043 (1 Plate)
Concentration Information 3.3 mM in DMSO

384-well Plate Format

These inhibitors are quite potent. We recommend that you screen this library at a 1:300 dilution (100 nl compound stock into 30 ul assay volume), as is standard for most screens. In addition, we advise you to simultaneously screen this library using a lower pin transfer volume into the same assay volume (e.g. 33 nl compound stock into 30 ul assay volume) so that each assay tests two concentrations of each inhibitor.

Note that from August 2010 to February 2011, this library (same plate numbers) was available for pin transfer in 10 mM stock concentration. For most assays, we found that this concentration was too high (when diluted 1:300 for screening). Thus, as of March 2011, this library is now available for pin transfer from a stock concentration of 3.3 mM.

This library requires permission before screening. ICCB-Longwood screeners interested in screening this library should contact Jennifer Smith for more details.
