This ChemDiv collection was jointly purchased with the Laboratory for Drug Discovery for Neurodegeneration (LDDN) in December 2001 based on the ChemDiv collections that were available at that time. It was part of a total purchase of more than 50,000 new commercial compounds. This collection was compiled so that the molecules have an increased probability of favorable physico-chemical properties and a lack of functional groups that might cause toxicity or reduce stability.
