#  Prestwick 2 Collection 

 



 This Prestwick library was purchased by the New England Regional Center of Excellence in Biodefense and Emerging Infectious Diseases (NERCE/BEID) in December 2009. This library contains 1120 off-patent compounds that have been selected for structural diversity, collective coverage of multiple therapeutic areas, and known safety and bioavailability in humans. Over 85% of the Prestwick compounds are marketed drugs.

 Note that Prestwick2 replaces the ICCB-L Prestwick1 collection (which was retired from screening in January 2011). Prestwick2 contains 27 compounds that were not in the Prestwick1 collection.
