### Filters expand\_more

For excitation wavelengths, the IXM-C laser uses the [Lumencor Celesta light engine](https://iccb.med.harvard.edu/sites/g/files/omnuum5406/files/2025-09/CELESTA_Light_Engine.pdf), a solid-state laser light source with ~800mW of output power. High output laser excitation reduces exposure times by up to 75%. In addition, there is a 10-position emission filter wheel that is supported by a 4-position dichroic filter cube wheel featuring multi-bandpass filters spanning multiple wavelengths indicated in **bold**.
