# Human 9 – G-protein Coupled Receptors

This collection of Dharmacon siGENOME siRNAs was purchased in 2014 as part of the RNAi Global Consortium with funding from Harvard Medical School’s Tools and Technologies Committee. The design of this library is based on RefSeq version 27 and incorporates recent advances in siRNA algorithm design to help decrease RNAi off-target effects. The siRNAs are arrayed as SMARTpools.

The SMARTpools in this library are a discrete set that target G-protein coupled receptors; the targets included in this library were determined by Dharmacon. There are eight focused libraries, represented by Dharmacon 2014 Human 9 through Dharmacon 2014 Human 16 libraries. The SMARTpools in this library and the other focused libraries are also plated continuously in [Dharmacon 2014 Human 6 Druggable Genome Compiled 9-16 Focused Libraries](/human-6-compiled-9-16-focused-libraries). Investigators should not screen both the Human 9 – 16 libraries and Human 6 library. If you have questions about which library is most appropriate for your research goals, please contact [Jennifer Smith](mailto:jennifer_smith@hms.harvard.edu).
