The ICCB-Longwood Screening Facility, located in SGM 613 and 610, provides
small molecule libraries and equipment for high-throughput screening
of chemical libraries, and it also develops HTS technology. The
screening facility has the following equipment and resources available
for use by investigators:
- Robotics for pin transfer of compounds from library stock
plates to assay plates.
- Plate readers with luminescence, fluorescence, fluorescence
polarization, time-resolved fluorescence, and absorbance detection
capability.
- Screening microscopes that image wells from 96- and 384-well
assay plates.
- Automated plate washers.
- Liquid handling robots for filling assay plates.
- Tissue culture hoods and incubators.
- Multichannel pipettes.
- Plate Sealer and Bar Code Labeler
