Baker Hood Enclosure for RNAi Liquid Handling
The ICCBL purchased a Baker Bioprotect II biological safety cabinet in 2006 for RNAi transfections and reformats. This cabinet contains a Thermo Matrix WellMate to rapidly add cells, lipid or other reagents to the assay plates which are then moved to the Velocity11 Bravo for siRNA library addition (transfection step). In addition this hood contains a Velocity11 PlateLoc to seal the library plates after transfecting and two Velocity11 BenchCel stackers that move the plates between these stations.
