Quantitative PCR

ICCB-Longwood has two quantitative PCR instruments

LifeTechnologies QuantStudio 7 and Roche LightCycler 480. There is a training and annual access fee for each qPCR instrument; please see the bottom of this page for additional information.

LifeTechnologies QuantStudio 7

This instrument was purchased with funding from Harvard Medical School’s Tools and Technologies Committee.

The standard dyes this instrument is calibrated for are: FAM, VIC, ROX, SYBR, TAMRA, NED. If you are using a custom dye in your assay, please plan to calibrate your own protocol

All experiments on this instrument are performed in 384-well microplates.
